About. The JSOC Modernization Division, together with J8 Futures Division creates and maintains the Enterprise Gaps list, broken out by war fighting function. Gaps are addressed through wargaming and experimentation each year. Virtually all JSOC gaps are shared by Joint Force partners, so the JSOC speed and agility helps shape research and development efforts within the Department of War. Mr. Earnhardt will address these gaps with a focus on those requiring extensive scientific research to solve. Following his presentation, Mr. Earnhardt will remain to answer questions and meet with those in attendance.
Purpose. The CDR is to advance the collaboration among NC University researchers, the NC Innovation ecosystem, and the Defense sector to better identify, understand and pursue early stage research in support of national defense.
